About Richard Doster
Richard Doster is the editor of byFaith magazine.
Prior to his work with byFaith, Doster spent 25 years in the advertising business. He’s a contributing writer for Crosswalk.com and a regular contributor to byFaith, winner of the 2006 and 2008 Evangelical Press Association’s Award of Excellence. Doster is also a Christy Award finalist for his first novel, Safe at Home.
A native of Mississippi, and a graduate of the University of Florida, Doster now concentrates on Southern fiction, exploring the history, religion, family relationships, sense of community and place, and social tensions that characterize his home region.
Robert Whitlow, author of Mountain Top and The List said of Doster: “…Richard Doster walks comfortably in the footsteps of generations of Southern writers. [His work] transports us to another time and another place. Once there, Doster reveals with skill and sensitivity timeless lessons that should never be forgotten.”
Richard Doster lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife Sally, and the great dog Sunshine.
